Create office hours. This is as much to train you as it is to train any members of your family that certain hours of the day are reserved for work. It is extremely easy to get distracted by children, pets, the pile of laundry or a sink full of dishes. You can give them their due attention when your office hours are over.
If possible, reduce the time you spend on other household task such as laundry, food prep and cleaning. Enlist the help of your children and spouse to keep order in the house and find economical ways to reduce the amount of time you need to spend on these activities allowing you to devote more time to your business.
